Das Antiseptikum überzeugt mit einem breiten, antiseptischen Wirkungsspektrum (bakterizid inkl. Mykobakterien und MRSA, fungizid, begrenzt viruzid inkl. HIV, HBV, HCV, HSV, Adenovirus Typ 5 und Rotavirus).
Anwendungsgebiete
- Präoperative Hautantiseptik/postoperative Nahtversorgung
- Vor dem Legen von Gefäßkathetern (z.B. ZVK)
- Vor Injektionen, Blutentnahmen, Punktionen, Exzisionen, Kanülierungen und Biopsien
- Falls kein spezielles Händedesinfektionsmittel zur Verfügung steht, kann octeniderm® farblos auch zur hygienischen und chirurgischen Händedesinfektion verwendet werden.

Anwendungshinweise
Vor allen invasiven Eingriffen: Betreffendes Hautareal besprühen/mit einem getränkten Tupfer aufbringen, vollständige Benetzung der Haut sicherstellen und Einwirkzeiten beachten, überschüssiges Präparat aufnehmen, um eine Pfützenbildung zu vermeiden.
Zur präoperativen Hautantiseptik: Haare der betroffenen Hautstelle mechanisch kürzen, Präoperative Waschung (z.B. mit octenisan®) wird empfohlen. Um das Verwischen von Hautmarkierungen zu vermeiden, ausschließlich Hautmarkierungsstifte mit
einer ausreichenden Alkoholbeständigkeit verwenden. Beim Kleben von Inzisionsfolien auf ausreichende Abtrocknung achten, um die Haftung nicht zu beeinträchtigen.
